About Us
1. Company Overview
The 7th Engineering Co., Ltd. was founded in April 2025 as an engineering design and R&D company based in Japan.
Our mission is to merge real-world manufacturing expertise with AI-driven automation technologies.
Representative Director Shinya Kataoka brings decades of experience in die-casting and quality management across Japan and Thailand.
Recognizing critical challenges such as labor shortages and reliance on manual inspection, we established this company to create practical, affordable, and intelligent inspection systems for the aluminum casting industry.
The company’s Honorary Chairman is Mr. Tatsuhiro Ii, President of Kyowa Casting Co., Ltd.
2. About “IVI-360™”
IVI-360™ is an AI-powered automated visual inspection system designed for aluminum die-cast products.
Developed through real production experience in Japan and Thailand, it enables full 360-degree inspection using a single movable camera and a rotary stage — eliminating the need for flipping mechanisms.
“IVI” stands for Intelligent Vision Inspection, and “360” represents the system’s ability to capture all-around images from every angle.
The system prioritizes simplicity, operability, and durability, making it suitable for small- to medium-sized or overseas factories.
Key technical highlights:
7 degrees of freedom (6-axis robot + rotating stage)
Single-camera 360° imaging without product flipping
Compact design and quick setup for multiple product types
3. Intellectual Property
The core mechanism of IVI-360™ is protected under Japanese Registered Patent No. 7750589 (JPO),
and additional applications have been filed with the Japan Patent Office (PTO filing pending).
The system and brand name IVI-360™ are also protected under Japanese Trademark Registration No. T6941983 (JPO),
owned by The 7th Engineering Co., Ltd.
These intellectual properties form the foundation of our technology licensing and joint development framework.
4. Licensing & Partnership Opportunities
We are actively seeking industrial partners, R&D institutions, and system integrators interested in bringing IVI-360™ technology into new markets and applications.
Collaboration options include:
Technology Licensing — rights to develop or localize IVI-360™ technology
Joint R&D Projects — shared development and co-owned intellectual property
OEM Integration — embedding IVI-360™ mechanisms into existing inspection systems
If your organization is exploring AI-based inspection, automation, or die-casting quality solutions,
we welcome inquiries for technical collaboration, licensing, or co-development.
5. R&D and Global Collaboration
Product design and AI software are jointly developed between our teams in Japan and Thailand.
This bi-regional structure enables hardware–software integration, on-site testing, and scalable deployment in real manufacturing environments.
6. Our Message
We believe true innovation begins with understanding the factory floor.
IVI-360™ is not just an inspection device — it is a framework for collaboration between human expertise and AI.
We look forward to working with visionary partners who share our belief in advancing manufacturing quality together.
